There are those who think that Keith Kitchen has always worked in radio...this is not so!  There was a time when he actually worked for a living!  However; this only lasted a short time and it was the scariest 30 minutes of his life!

Keith began his career in radio by accident.  He took a wrong turn at the wrong street at the wrong time on the wrong day and thus began the trail of tears that led him to WILQ!  Several older and wiser heads over the years took Keith aside and 'suggested' that he get a 'real' job.

After years of therapy and several prescriptions of antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication, he got over these 'wise' suggestions and got down to seriously work in radio.

Thus, after a long, strange journey in which he and eight others fought their way through adventure after adventure, they finally succeeded in freeing Middle Earth...err, that's another story.

Actually, Keith has been on staff at WILQ since February, 2002 and joined the full-time staff in 2005, then moving into the Afternoon Drive slot in March, 2006. 

Keith lives in Montgomery with his beautiful wife, Jeanette, and his three children.
