When I was a kid, I always saw something funny in almost everything. Comments usually popped into my head and flew out of my mouth much to the chagrin and sometimes the delight of my parents. I could make my mother laugh and my father shake his head.
Making people laugh, I discovered, made me feel great! It also served me well in my teens and early 20’s to get dates. Yes, I was the class clown, again much to the chagrin of my elders. It wasn’t till 1975 that I decided to go into radio and haven’t looked back since. I actually met my wife Cathy through WILQ, so see Dad, getting into radio did pay off!
I love what I do and love our Q listeners. They are the best listeners I have ever experienced of any listeners at prior radio stations I’ve worked at, and the Susquehanna Valley is now my home.
I’m proud to be a part of this community and very proud to be a part of a great radio station, WILQ!!
