WOMAN JAILED AFTER WOODWARD TOWNSHIP ASSAULT
A Lycoming County woman is behind bars following an alleged assault at a Woodward Township home. Police say 34-year-old Tiffany Miller is accused of attacking another woman during an argument on March 20. Investigators say the victim reported being unable to breathe and showed visible injuries. Troopers say Miller resisted arrest before being taken into custody. She now faces multiple charges, including strangulation, and is being held on $5,000 bail.
LYCO INMATE ACCUSED OF SEXUAL ASSAULT OF ANOTHER INMATE
An inmate at Lycoming County Prison is facing new charges following an alleged sexual assault inside the facility. Police say 41-year-old Allen Arthur Frazier is accused of assaulting another inmate earlier this month. Investigators say the victim reported feeling threatened and afraid during the incident. Frazier is now charged with felony sexual assault and related offenses and remains in custody on additional bail as the case moves forward.
NEW POLICE CHIEF IN MONTOURSVILLE
Montoursville has a new police chief, as Robert Tobias comes out of retirement to lead the borough’s department. TRESSPASSING CHARGES FOR LYCO WOMAN
A Lycoming County woman will face further court action after police say she tried to force her way into a home in Hepburn Township. Investigators say 26-year-old Stephanie Sipes allegedly attempted to break in on February 3, damaging property and breaking a window. She is now charged with felony trespassing and criminal mischief. Sipes has been held for court and remains free on $25,000 bail as the case moves forward.
PCT CANCELS BASEBALL SEASON FOR 2026
Pennsylvania College of Technology has canceled the remainder of its 2026 baseball season following an internal investigation. Officials say concerns were reported during a recent trip to Myrtle Beach, prompting the school to suspend activities and review the situation.
