FLOOD WARNINGS IN AFFECT

The National Weather service in State College has issued flood warnings to the following areas Bloomsburg,Danville and Sunbury. The Susquehanna river is expected to crest at 7pm tonight.

A 50 YEAR OLD WOMAN ARRESTED FOR VANDELISIM

A 50 year old woman was arrested for breaking the windows of multiple vehicles in Montoursville,Loyalsock Township and Williamsport on Christmas Eve according to PA State police at Montoursville. Police departments received numerous calls early Thursday morning from victims reporting someone had broken their car windows and windshields. Through multiple victim reports,security video surveillance and further investigation, State Police were able to identify the suspect as a white female who was later identified as Marie Lecorne of Montoursville,she was taken into custody and arraigned before District Judge Gary Whiteman. She was remanded to Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

A CONVENIENCE STORE IS ROBBED

In Sunbury at around 11pm Christmas Eve. Sunbury Police were dispatched to the Penn Jersey Mart. Where a Convenience store employee was injured and told city Police that 2armed males beat and kicked him in the head and stole an undetermined amount of cash. Police are now searching for the 2 armed robbers who were dressed in all black,about 5-foot 11 and between 180-200 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call Northumberland County 911.

A NEW BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL COMPLEX TO BE BUILT

A $2 million dollar state grant secured recently will be used toward creating a youth baseball and softball complex off of Rose Street in Williamsport. State lawmakers said Thursday that the State Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant will go toward the Williamsport Ballpark project. The seven-field athletic complex is envisioned with construction to begin in 2021. The grant will help to transform a former trash dump and commercial site into the multi-field ballparks,according to State Republicans Sen Gene Yaw and Rep. Jeff Wheeland. Jason Fink President and CEO of the Williamsport/Lycoming County Chamber of Commerce says that the youth complex is expected to bring $10 million into the economy.

WILLIAMSPORT POLICE CHARGE A 40 YEAR OLD

Williamsport Police charged Weldon Saint Elmo Fletcher,40 with false imprisonment and disorderly conduct for allegedly refusing to allow police to move his Ford SUV out of the way of a woman who was trying to leave his home on Dec 21st. City Police said Fletcher was allegedly intoxicated and refused to provide keys. Fletcher is being held in Lycoming County Prison for $5,000 bail,and he is scheduled for a preliminary hearing with Judge Christian Frey Dec. 29th.

WILLIAMSPORT MAN CAUGHT WITH FENTANYL

A city man who had a warrant out for his arrest was apprehended, and allegedly had fentanyl at the time. An officer from the Lycoming County Sheriff’s Office took Roland Hankins,58 into custody for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order. However when the arresting officer searched him,the officer allegedly found seven bundles of 65 white waxine baggies of suspected fentanyl. Hankins was arraigned by Judge Frey on Dec. 22nd. He is being held in the Lycoming County Prison on $75,000 bail.
